Possibly the best value “serious” restaurant in the city, Etto is a very understated restaurant (white walls, basic tables, blackboards). It’s run with great charm and enthusiasm by Simon Barrett and Liz Matthews. Eclectic cooking (and wine selection) with strong (authentic) Italian influences. A really cool place and often the food enthusiast’s first choice. Barry FitzGerald cooked here before opening Bastible.
