There is one key thing to note about this busy, bustling restaurant. This is imaginative cooking and it often involves cheap ingredients being transformed into something lovely. We need more of that sort of thing. Flavours are punchy, influences are eclectically snatched from all over the world, service is cheerful and friendly and the portions are so generous that I ground to a halt half-way through my main course. But that may have something to do with the roast bone marrow and toasted sourdough to start.
