WIN DINNER AT DAX AND TICKETS TO SAINT AMOUR AT THE IFI
The latest film starring Gerard Depardieu has been described as being like Sideways but without the self-awareness. And unlike that oenological road trip through California, Saint Amour is positively surreal, very funny, poignant in parts and fuelled, to a large extent, by wine.
I’ll say no more but you can read a review in The Guardian here.
I have two tickets to give away plus an early bird dinner for two in one of my favourite Dublin restaurants, one with an elegant French accent that contrasts sharply but delightfully with the earthiness of the film. Oh, and very appropriately, there’s a bottle of wine thrown in. Thank you M Olivier Meisonave!
The date is Tuesday, 22 November 2016 at 20:50 which gives you time to enjoy your meal at Dax before ambling down to the Irish Film Institute in Temple Bar. (Saint Amour is also being screened on 18 November and 24 November but a lot earlier in the evening).
How to be in with a chance to win?
Just go back to Twitter and RT the link that brought you here before midnight on Saturday 19th November. Couldn’t be simpler. The winning RT will be chosen at random and announced on Sunday 20th November. Good luck!
Meanwhile, have a read of what I have to say about Dax here.
